I have been wasting my time for a bit more than 3 months talking to T Mobile TS, with NO clue on their side other than pointing fingers to Samsung. My problem has even been escalated to a supervisor but to NO avail. I cannot wait to get out of it, totally disappointed. The free A32 5G promotion hooked me into 2-year binding. T Mobile has greatly disappointed me in the last 3 months, staying nonchalant, trying to talk me into getting another service like their Home Internet, which I hear has the same VPN issue.

Well, older J7 Star and Oneplus N200 5G works perfect before and now as I extensively tested to confirm the problem is of A32 5G.
T mobile hotspot bandwidth issues upgrade#
My wife's A32 5G got acceptable after T Mobile tower completed 5G upgrade on 5/18/21. My guess is it is a combination of model specific high failure rate and T Mobile tower upgrade prossess. Belive it or not, my wife's A32 5G works OK if not perfect with acceptable drops. Even the last one has the same VPN problem as yours on top of the pesky Hotspot drops. T Mobile put me on two warranty replacement units in 3 months all of which failed with the same. Multiple TS at T Mobile and Samsung have been of NO help for more than 3 months. I have had to continue to disconnect and reconnect.

The new A32 5G on my line has continuously been dropping internet connection on Hotspot, kicking connected devicesĀ into "Connected without internet" any time after connection. I have been left in the lurch for more than 3 months by T Mobile since I upgraded my Samsung J7 Star to A32 5G back in early May.
